For the routine Iredell ZIP, download the county file and preserve its date before filtering it. A custom selection by party, gender, race, registration date, precinct, district, or history may be requested from the county by contacting its election office; no separate purchase form was verified. “Current” does not mean permanent. The file can include present and formerly registered or attempted registrations, while removed voters disappear when their most recent last-voted date is more than ten years old.

Statesville Voter Roll Maintenance
Voter registration status can change through routine list maintenance, so the reason and date matter more than the status word alone. North Carolina boards compare death data, address and move matches, duplicate records, felony-status information, voter requests, and confirmation responses. G.S. 163-82.14 requires a uniform, nondiscriminatory process that also follows federal law. Death matches reach county boards at least weekly, and a near relative or personal representative may submit a signed death statement.
Some voters who do not vote or confirm an address receive confirmation mail after a congressional election. Nonresponse, followed by no vote through the second later federal general election, can lead to removal. A written confirmation of a move outside the county can also trigger it. In early 2025, most of the 498,889 statewide removals in an NCSBE maintenance report involved voters who remained inactive through two federal elections. Correction notices are not findings of ineligibility, either. In February 2026, the state said more than 241,000 voters received letters about unvalidated identification numbers. Spelling, former names, transposed digits, or database-field errors can cause a mismatch. The mailings are set to recur each January and August beginning in summer 2026, giving voters a route to correct the data.

Protected Statesville Voter Addresses
North Carolina’s Address Confidentiality Program serves qualifying people who have moved, or plan to move, because disclosure creates a safety risk tied to domestic violence, sexual assault or offense, stalking, or human trafficking. An applicant works through a trained victim-service assistant. The Attorney General then provides a substitute address and forwards first-class mail.
Under Chapter 15C and G.S. 15C-8, public agencies generally accept the substitute address for new records and keep the actual address and phone confidential.
